About Stormthredz
We are a company that has a plethora of interests and involvement in many activities. Currently we are in the development stage of this business. While we have been in business for years with our look and attitude we are now just starting to spread our wings and attempting to grow into an influential and inspiring brand.
Our team believes in an active and positive lifestyle. We go about our business attempting to do the right thing while promoting a consciousness of others to do the same. We want to connect people who share the same awareness of wanting to evolve and assist in creating positive change. We feel this needs to start at a grass roots level and it’s up to everyone to make any positive change they are capable of. Doing anything means everything in today’s world.
Our sporting company is involved in all athletics from owning a professional baseball team to partnering in a surfboard company and producing surf movies. We have partnered in sprint car racing and are involved with our local sky diving school. We are in the heartland of the action sports industry and promote the freestyle moto movement, dirt bike racing and wakeboarding.
We believe in giving back to youth sports and encouraging participation in all and any activities. We sponsor youth little league teams, surf camps, gymnastic teams, football teams, skaters, soccer teams, softball teams and surfers.
We have professional athletes that wear the Storm brand from baseball players such as Jake Peavy, Xavier Nady, John Lackey, and Johnny Damon. As well as entertainers like Wild N Out’s Nick Cannon, Fred Durst of Limp Biscuit, and DJ Paul from Three 6 Mafia. Professional big wave surfer Garrett McNamara also sports the Stormthredz look.
We are also dedicated to working toward a more sustainable living style. We have made changes to our baseball facility that has saved over 30 million gallons of water by making simple and inexpensive changes to our stadium. We have retrofitted much of our lighting to more environmentally and energy efficient equipment. We have completed energy audits to our offices and have a long term plan of making additional changes every year including a solar panel parking lot that will make our facility energy self sufficient.
Our clothing line has many organic cotton and bamboo pieces that not only are environmentally conscious but also offer a wonderful alternative to current materials. If you’ve never owned a bamboo piece of clothing you are sure to be impressed with the moisture resistance fabric and silky feel. While we know we have a way to go we are attempting to make change our self as we want to not only talk the talk but also walk the walk.
We hope you become a part of our team and support the efforts of ourselves and many that are interested in connecting with others who are looking to create a positive change in today’s society.
Aloha
